Stella Dadzie has made a lasting contribution to the challenges of tackling racism, working with racist perpetrators and developing anti-racist strategies in schools.

Her publication TOOLKIT FOR TACKLING RACISM IN SCHOOLS (Trentham Books, March 2000) is described in Race Equality Teaching as 'a user-friendly and virtually foolproof resource'.

In 2003, she completed work on TRIAL & ERROR: Learning about Racism through Citizenship Education, a CD-Rom resource to support teaching about race, identity and diversity at Key Stages 3&4, described as one of the most comprehensive resources of its kind.

She was one of a team of consultants on the DfES AIMING HIGH project to raise the achievement of African-Caribbean pupils in thirty targeted schools nationwide.

She has trained hundreds of head teachers and senior managers to raise awareness of the statutory case for promoting Equality & Diversity in schools and the practical challenges of recording and monitoring Racist Incidents.
