As a company that specialises in Equalities we think it is vital that we practise what we preach. Front Line Training's policy is to continuously review our language, delivery and outcomes to ensure that they are inclusive, non-discriminatory and respectful of the rights and differences of individuals.
Our approach is based on valuing and respecting peoples' differences, be they social, cultural or religious; and promoting the benefits of diversity and inclusion in all our communications and interactions with clients.
We endeavour to create a safe yet challenging training environment at all times, To us, this means promoting access, equality and positive awareness of difference among both staff and service users.
Ground rules, training contracts and terms of reference are negotiated in advance to establish clear boundaries. Where differences arise, we favour constructive criticism and would seek to resolve any conflicts in a reflective, non-confrontational manner.
We believe this to be particularly important in Race and Equalities work, which may evoke feelings of unease or insecurity in participants who are not used to addressing E&D issues in training, team discussions, consultations or similar contexts.
Evaluation and follow-up review, whether by trainees, conference participants or contracting managers, provide our clients with a safe, feedback mechanism. We welcom constructive suggestions and are committed to ensuring that issues of equality and diversity are monitored and closely scrutinised as part of our on-going effort to continuously improve our services.
